Since finding Monroe in New Las Vegas at the beginning of Revolution’s second season, there has been some chatter about the simmering chemistry between him and Charlie. Of course, most of the time Charlie is on a mission to kill the man. But something shifted for this odd pairing once Monroe saved her life. Not once, but twice.
Apparently, the fans aren’t the only ones wondering if something would ever happen between the two. Something tells me that Miles may not be too fond of it, but crazier things have happened. Executive Producer Rockne S. O’Bannon says that they think the pairing is interesting. He does admit that there is a “creepiness factor” to the coupling, but the “low-level spark” is something they are aware of.
Its obvious that work well together, and when Charlie, Monroe and Miles had to team up, it was greatness! What a shift between then and now. Before, Charlie would have let Monroe rot, and only a few episodes later, she’s pleading with Rachel not to give him up. Now, I know that was because they need him to fight alongside them. But I think somewhere deep down, maybe Charlie sees the something special in this fantastical world’s “Batman”. What do you think? Is a Charlie and Monroe pairing something you could be interested in seeing develop? Or do you think there is too much of a “creep factor”?
